Kansas City 5-2 Losers to Blockbusters

The Los Angeles Blockbusters converted a terrific effort from starter Dario Fontanez into a win over the Kansas City Bulls at Blockbuster Stadium. The Blockbusters won the game by a final score of 5-2. The winner was Fontanez. He threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Waldo Hardaway. Los Angeles now sits at 43-54, while Kansas City falls to 43-57.
Harvey Katzen hit a 2-run triple off Waldo Hardaway in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Blockbusters in front, 2-0. Katzen had 2 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.
