Extra-Inning Win by Eagles Over Dairymen
|
Mike Cooper never let Milwaukee get something going. The Washington right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Eagles to a 2-1 win. The loss drops the Dairymen to 3-7.
The Eagles got a clutch hit from second baseman Larry Wools. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Eagles.
"Our team found a way to get it done," said Wools.
