The Seattle Emeralds and starting pitcher Denny Goldberg stifled the New York offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at Puget Field. Seattle has now won 4 straight.

Goldberg earned the win to move to 8-8. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run, while limiting the Empires to 4 hits.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Goldberg.
