Bulls Double Up Dairymen, 6-3

The Kansas City Bulls topped the Milwaukee Dairymen, 6-3, in National Baseball League action at Independence Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kansas City pitcher Waldo Hardaway. The triumph puts Kansas City at 53-46 for the season.
Mario Alva, the 2nd overall pick in the 1970 draft, helped out the Kansas City cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 3 walks.
"Waldo was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Kansas City manager DD Martin.
