1975 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Washington Eagles.

Jim Brookins helped his team muscle past the Washington Eagles, 8-4. In the game, the Los Angeles right fielder hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The Blockbusters raised their record to 48-52.

In the top of the sixth, Brookins put his team in front with his 18th home run of the season. The solo home run, which came against Dave Alexander, made it 2-1, Los Angeles.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Brookins.
