Pobladores Deal Baltimore 7-3 Defeat
|
Los Angeles shortstop John Fine had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Baltimore Lords, 7-3. Phil Lester, the winner, improved to 6-13. He held the Lords to 3 runs on 5 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 4. With the win, the Pobladores have a record of 44-56.
Fine had a key at-bat for Los Angeles in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 25th double of the season and gave Los Angeles an early 3-0 lead.
