Traders Absorb 6-3 Loss at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium
Ray Bell impressed in the 6-3 Milwaukee win over Chicago. Bell, who leads the NBL in triples with 11, went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. Danny Guerra, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 6-4. Picking up the save was Bob Brion, his 2nd.

The Dairymen got a big at-bat from right fielder Roberto Matallana. For the game, Matallana went 1-3 with a triple. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Milwaukee a 3-2 lead.

Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.

With the victory, the Dairymen record stands at 44-56.
