Fred Johnson left his imprint on the 7-5 Dallas win against the Twin Cities Northmen. Johnson, who is a five-time All-Star, was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With the win, Dallas pushed its record to 53-48.

With Dallas trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Johnson hit a slider from Ben Hall for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Wranglers ahead, 6-4.

In comments to the Dallas Observer, Johnson insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
