Lopez Dazzles in 3-1 San Francisco Win
San Vicente Park was the site of a tense game between the Los Angeles Pobladores and San Francisco Seagulls.

Arturo Lopez, who is tied for 8th in the ABL with a 1.11 WHIP, was terrific for the San Francisco Seagulls in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Los Angeles Pobladores. His performance earned Lopez rave reviews. Picking up the save was Dan Wood, his 16th.

Lopez, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 7-5. In 8 innings of work, Lopez gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 5 Ks. He kept the Pobladores punchless, offensively.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Seagulls manager Al Borie, "I like our chances."

The Seagulls improved their record to 62-39 with the win over Los Angeles.
