Toby Baker helped his team muscle past the Twin Cities Northmen, 7-2. In the game, the Los Angeles catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Los Angeles pitcher Carlos Novoa earned the win, hiking his record to 3-0. Roger Long suffered the loss. The loss drops Twin Cities to 2-8.

Los Angeles took a 7-2 lead on Baker's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Roger Long in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Los Angeles to the win.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim.
