Starting pitcher Jim Arndt did his part in helping the Los Angeles Pobladores thwart the San Francisco Seagulls, 5-0. Arndt, now 10-6, was the winner. Costen Judy had a big 2-run double for the Pobladores in the bottom of the sixth inning. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pobladores ahead, 3-0.
