Seagulls Take Down Pobladores, 5-2
The San Francisco Seagulls took Dave Wynn's best shot and still were able to collect a win at San Vicente Park. The final score had San Francisco getting past the Pobladores, 5-2, in 10 innings. Wynn over 8.2 innings allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 8. San Francisco reliever Randy Shipley picked up the win. Larry Seger, who finished 5th in the ABL in saves with 23 in 1975, took the loss for Los Angeles. Picking up the save was Archie Sereni, his 23rd.

San Francisco took advantage of an error in the top of the tenth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Don Johnson hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Seagulls in front, 3-2.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Los Angeles manager Alex Wobbema.

The Seagulls have a one-game lead in the American Baseball League Western Division.
