Spirited fans greeted the Houston Drillers for their clash with the Atlanta Generals.

Atlanta picked up a win at Sam Houston Field, bumping off the Houston Drillers, 6-2. Pitcher Roger Pochatko was a major reason the Generals emerged victorious. Atlanta is now 47-57, Houston 58-44.

Pochatko had a critical at-bat in the top of the seventh for Atlanta, coming through with a run-scoring single to put Atlanta in front, 3-2.

Pochatko said his team "played with focus."
