Eagles Win at Home, 6-1

Mark Campbell pitched a gem to lead Washington to victory over the Milwaukee Dairymen, 6-1. After today's action, Washington sits at 40-62, while Milwaukee falls to 52-51.
The Eagles got a big at-bat from left fielder Diego Mateo. For the game, Mateo went 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 4 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Washington a 4-1 lead.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Eagles manager Juan Placeholder. "This one was nice to get."
