Generals Suffer 3-1 Road Loss
|
Houston Drillers starter Francisco Castro hurled his team past the Atlanta Generals, 3-1. In 6.1 innings, Castro surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Drillers sit at 62-42.
Houston grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Castro hit a run-scoring double off Bill Davis. His 4th double of the season put the Drillers out in front, 2-1.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Castro.
