Dominion Field was the site of a competitive game between the Baltimore Lords and Toronto Hurons.
Toronto Hurons starter Dave Hamilton pitched his team past the Baltimore Lords, 2-1. The winner was Hamilton. He threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Dan Valenti. Alex Mendoza wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.
Max Lasseter had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Toronto. He came through with a 2-run single to put Toronto in front, 2-1.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hamilton told the Toronto Observer.
The Hurons sit in last place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division with a record of 41-61.
