Generals Victors, 8-3, at Montreal
The Atlanta Generals topped the Montreal Habitants, 8-3, with youngster Zach Hodge playing a key role. Hodge went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Generals in the win. With the win, Atlanta upped its record to 59-45.

The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Hodge hit a 3-run home run off Dave Quigley. It propelled the Generals into the lead, 3-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Hodge told the Atlanta Citizen.
