The San Francisco Seagulls picked up a win at Bluff Park, knocking off the Dallas Wranglers, 6-3. Starting pitcher Tim Stambaugh was a big reason why. Stambaugh, now 12-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs. Jeff Butler, credited with the save, is now 6 for 8 in save opportunities.

San Francisco used a clutch at-bat from Matt Legrow to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Seagulls ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
