Montoya Hits 2 home runs in Captains Win
Captains first baseman Ramon Montoya put his stamp on his team's 13-6 win over the Milwaukee Dairymen. Montoya slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for San Diego in the contest. The Captains now have a record of 53-52 with the win over Milwaukee.

With San Diego trailing 6-5 in the top of the ninth, Montoya hit a fastball from Denny Grissinger for a 3-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Captains ahead, 8-6.

In postgame comments to the San Diego Daily News, Montoya said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
