Heath Electric in San Diego Win
|
The San Diego Captains picked up a win at Independence Field, courtesy of Ray Heath. The right-hander helped his team stop the Kansas City Bulls, 3-1. With the win, San Diego pushed its record to 57-49.
Heath ran roughshod over the Kansas City lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 12. With the victory, he goes to 14-5 on the season.
"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Heath told the San Diego Citizen. "And padding the San Diego win column."
