Fuentes, Traders March to 7-2 Victory
Rafael Fuentes made an impact in the 7-2 Chicago win over San Diego. Fuentes, who finished 3rd in the NBL in triples with 11 in 1968, went 3-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Chicago is now 57-51, San Diego 63-44.

Fuentes contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Chicago get the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Fuentes told the Chicago Times.
