The Boston Terriers defeated the Detroit Wolverines, 6-4, in part because of left fielder Mike Cash. Cash went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Terriers. The winner was Bruce Shurtleff, who threw 124 pitches over 8 innings.
