The Denver Burros beat the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 5-4. Denver pitcher and Stockton, California, native Bob Langham led the way. Denver goes to 46-60, Los Angeles to 52-55.

The Burros got a clutch hit from third baseman Eddie Ingle. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Burros.
