On Road, St. Louis Drops Kansas City, 3-2
					 |

In a tight tilt between the St. Louis Explorers and the Kansas City Bulls, Harlan Estes was the deciding factor. The St. Louis right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Estes. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Skip Carter. Now 4-8, the Bulls have not played well this season.
Dave Bieler had a direct impact on the outcome. Bieler contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put St. Louis up, 3-2.
"Harlan mixed and matched," said St. Louis manager Ray Fleetwood.
