Dairymen Win 8-7 Walk-Off
|
Behind a solid performance from center fielder Bill Malstrom, the Milwaukee Dairymen defeated the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 8-7. Malstrom went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Dairymen. Milwaukee, with the win, climbs to 31-75.
The Dairymen got a clutch hit from catcher Reggie Bryce. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Dairymen.
"The game of baseball will test you," said Brandon Dudley, the Milwaukee skipper. "This one tested us."
