In the 6-4 Houston win over San Francisco, the impact of Charlie Fee was substantial. Fee, who is a five-time All-Star, went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win lifted the Houston record to 58-50.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Fee hit a slider from Albert Green for a 2-run home run. The Drillers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Fee told the Houston Citizen. "But we take nothing for granted."
