The San Francisco Seagulls defeated the Seattle Emeralds by the score of 6-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Scott Wagner. Wagner went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Seagulls on the day. The win went to Andre DeVault in relief. His record improves to 2-0. The Seagulls got a clutch hit from center fielder Bob Russell. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Seagulls.
