Wranglers Pick Up 3-2 Win Against Chicago
The Dallas Wranglers wanted a good start from Barry Gilmore -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-2 Dallas win over the Chicago Hawks at Bluff Park. Frank Dunn was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 32 save opportunities. The third-place Wranglers have won 4 straight.

The Wranglers got a big at-bat from first baseman Duane Simmons. For the game, Simmons was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Dallas a 3-0 lead.
