Despite a great performance by Atlanta center fielder Matt Legrow, the Boston Terriers defeated the Generals by the score of 8-7 in 10 innings at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Legrow was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. The win makes Boston 51-58.

The Terriers got a clutch hit from second baseman Roberto Alvarez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Terriers.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Alvarez said.
