Forgette Silences San Francisco Bats
The Twin Cities Northmen racked up a win at Mission Field, bumping off the San Francisco Seagulls, 1-0. Gary Forgette, who started for Twin Cities, pitched effectively for his team. The Northmen improved their record to 52-58 by beating San Francisco.

The Seagulls had trouble solving Forgette, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Forgette said.
