The New York Empires reigned over the Montreal Habitants in damp conditions.
The New York Empires clobbered the Montreal Habitants, 15-1, at Queens Field. New York right fielder Al Castro led the onslaught. He was 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7. Larry Stanford picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. On the season, he is now 13-6.
