Larry Black was nothing short of phenomenal for the Detroit Wolverines. The 37-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Boston Terriers, 8-1. Black yielded 1 run over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 3-10. With the win over Boston, the Wolverines improved to 55-56.
