Seagulls Walk It Off for 8th Win of Season
The San Francisco Seagulls defeated the Los Angeles Pobladores, 5-4, in American Baseball League action at Mission Field. Richie Amos pulled his weight. The 8-year veteran was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. San Francisco is now 8-3.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Amos hit a fastball from Tony Gregory for a run-scoring single. The Seagulls, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We've had a tough go of it," said Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson. "But we'll snap out of this funk."
