Knickerbockers Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
Cincinnati starter Kenny Foster put the New York offense in a vise grip. The left-hander relied heavily on his curveball in leading the Packers to a 4-1 win. Cincinnati is now 46-66, New York 57-53.

The Packers got a big at-bat from third baseman Jamie Robinson. For the game, Robinson went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Robinson.
