The Los Angeles Pobladores had to overcome a fine effort from Dallas pitcher Art Stager to win, 3-2, at San Vicente Park. Stager went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Los Angeles now sits at 58-56, while Dallas falls to 55-58.

The Pobladores got a clutch hit from center fielder Bobby Bridges. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pobladores.
