Hawks Win with Late Rally
The Chicago Hawks defeated the San Francisco Seagulls, 11-10, at Hyde Park Stadium. Leading the charge for Chicago was right fielder Mark Morris. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. The winner in relief was Ken Eldridge. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings.
