The 10-2 Los Angeles win over Chicago was due in large part to Bobby Bridges. The Pobladores right fielder went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win lifted the Los Angeles record to 58-54.

Early in the game, Bridges had a 2-run double for Los Angeles. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Pobladores on top, 2-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Mike Flaherty.
