Burros Net 3-1 Win Over Blockbusters
|
The Denver Burros beat the Los Angeles Blockbusters by a score of 3-1. Denver right fielder Guillaume Moret deserved the lion's share of the credit. Moret was 2-2 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for the Burros. Earning his 1st save for Denver was Duane Siudzinski. The 5th-place Blockbusters now sit at 55-61.
Guillermo Morales, who finished 2nd in the NBL in batting average with .354 in 1972, had a direct impact on the outcome. Morales contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Denver up, 2-1.
