Industrials Pull Out Late-Game Win, 2-1
The New York Knickerbockers went down to defeat to Bob Briggs and his Pittsburgh teammates. The final score was 2-1, Industrials, in 10 innings. The Industrials have an impressive 73-40 record.

The decisive blow was delivered by Terry McClellan in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Albert Green to win the game for Pittsburgh. The home crowd went nuts.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said New York manager Timothy Widholm.
