Bulls Deal Burros 5-3 Loss
|
The Kansas City Bulls earned a win at Independence Field, knocking off the Denver Burros, 5-3. On the bump for Kansas City was right-hander Ron Bargiel. He had a starring role in the triumph. Kansas City, now 2-0, is setting the league on fire so far.
Kansas City got a knockout punch from Rod Kremer. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
Kansas City manager DD Martin commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
