The Kansas City Bulls beat the Cincinnati Packers, 6-4, at Roman Arena. Kansas City center fielder Haskell McLemore had the hot bat. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times. Kansas City pitcher Bret Weingartz got the win. He's now 8-5. Damon Rutherford was tagged with the loss. Bob Crosby got the save, the 24th for him this season.

Armando Amador came through with a big-time hit for Kansas City. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," McLemore told the Kansas City News.

The win for the Bulls raised their record to 62-51.
