Colon Dominates Seattle
|
Seattle were shut out, 2-0, by Angel Colon and the Houston Drillers at Sam Houston Field. The Emeralds offered little resistance to Colon, who stopped them on 2 hits, fanned 4 and walked 2.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Colon told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
This season, Colon has compiled a 9-6 record with a 2.82 ERA in 15 starts.
