Byrd, Traders March to 6-4 Victory
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Chicago Traders and Kansas City Bulls.

The Chicago Traders topped the Kansas City Bulls by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was right fielder Ron Byrd. Byrd hit 3 home runs for the Traders. Bobby Peters, the winner, is now 8-10. He struck out 3 and walked 1 over 6.1 innings, while allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Jimmy Calhoun was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 6 save opportunities.
