Industrials Reel Off Another Win
The Pittsburgh Industrials locked up a win at Allegheny Field, knocking off the Cleveland Bobcats, 7-3. On the mound for Pittsburgh was left-hander Dennis Visco. He played a major role in the triumph. Visco, who is tied for 2nd in the NBL in complete games with 10, went the distance for Pittsburgh. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. The second-place Industrials have won 6 straight games.

Lew Ward had a big grand slam home run for the Industrials in the bottom of the first inning. With Pittsburgh leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a sinker from Myron Baird, who is tied for 9th in the NBL with a 5.8 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Industrials on top, 5-0.
