Brookins Rips 2 Homers in 8-4 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Milwaukee Dairymen and Los Angeles Blockbusters get after it.

Behind the bravura of right fielder Jim Brookins, the Los Angeles Blockbusters topped the Milwaukee Dairymen by the score of 8-4. Brookins went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Blockbusters. The win for the Blockbusters raised their record to 59-57.

Los Angeles center fielder Norm Parsons contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 107th hit of the season and put the Blockbusters ahead, 2-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Parsons said. "We did a good job of that today."
