Behind a solid performance from right fielder Leo Alexander, the Los Angeles Pobladores defeated the Twin Cities Northmen, 6-5. Alexander went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Pobladores. Larry Seger converted his 5th save in 8 tries. Los Angeles raised its record to 63-57 with the win.

Alexander had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a full count changeup from Charlie Sokol, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Pobladores a 3-2 lead. It was the 12th double of the year for Alexander.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim. "But we decided not to take it."
