Packers Lose to Quakers in Walk-Off
Philadelphia parlayed a decent outing from starter Fred Harrison into a solid win over the Cincinnati Packers. The final score was 3-2. The triumph puts Philadelphia at 63-54 for the season.

Philadelphia got a knockout punch from Fred Johnson. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Cincinnati manager Martin Abresch.
