The Detroit Wolverines center fielder tore up the Toronto Hurons to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Wolverine Field. The offensive onslaught from Lee powered the 18-2 Wolverines win.

"Lee was a tough out," Toronto manager Jim Burns said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Booker Lee singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mike Beers in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.

So far this year in 85 games, Lee is hitting .298 with 4 home runs, 30 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
