Chicago Stumbles Again, Falls, 7-4, to Dallas
The Dallas Wranglers racked up a win at Bluff Park, bumping off the Chicago Hawks, 7-4. Steve Coomes, who started for Dallas, pitched effectively for his team. Ken Craig earned the save for Dallas. Dallas has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.

Rich Pakula had a big bases-clearing double for the Wranglers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Dallas leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Jay Landis, who is tied for 8th in the ABL with a 6.5 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wranglers ahead, 7-3.

"I like our mindset right now," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
