Pobladores Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
The Los Angeles Pobladores racked up a win at Twin Cities Stadium, bumping off the Twin Cities Northmen, 4-3. Vern Gould, who started for Los Angeles, pitched effectively for his team. The win puts Los Angeles at 64-57 this season.

Gould broke a deadlock in the top of the ninth inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly, putting Los Angeles up, 4-3.

"Vern kept his poise and got the job done," said Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson. "He was outstanding."
