Wranglers Suffer 14-1 Drubbing
The Houston Drillers got production from their entire lineup in an easy 14-1 win over the Dallas Wranglers. Doing his part was left fielder Mike Wells. Wells, who finished 4th in the ABL in on-base percentage with .400 in 1970, was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Drillers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 12 games.
