Seagulls Reel Off Another Win
|
San Francisco beat Twin Cities on the strength of starting pitcher Tim Stambaugh's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The San Francisco win streak is now 7 games.
Bob Raab, who led the ABL in RBI with 89 in 1967, had a direct impact on the outcome. Raab contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put San Francisco up, 4-0.
"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Stambaugh.
