Wranglers Get Clutch Win Versus Los Angeles
The Dallas Wranglers picked up a win at Bluff Park, taking down the Los Angeles Pobladores, 4-3, in 16 innings. On the mound for Dallas was right-hander Barry Gilmore. He played a central role in the triumph. After today's action, Dallas sits at 60-60; Los Angeles slips to 63-59.

The Wranglers got a clutch hit from first baseman Ron Somers. In the bottom of the 16th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Wranglers.

Gilmore said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
